We are pleased to announce the Manitoba Libraries Conference 2009: Future Generations, Evolving Services.

SPEAKER PRESENTATIONS: Speaker Presentations are now available for viewing and downloading.

Some Programming Highlights:

  • Keynote speaker is Struan Sinclair, the author of the acclaimed short story collection Everything Breathed and the director of the Department of English Media Lab and Writing Program/Focus at the University of Manitoba, Thursday, May 7, 8:45 am. The public is welcome to attend, $10 at the door.
  • Mexican themed pool-side party sponsored by AMBP, Thursday, May 7, 5:15 p.m.
  • Grand Opening of Exhibits: Refreshments, 45 vendor booths and prizes, Friday, May 8, 2:45 p.m. 
  • Keynote Address "Future generations: What will Impact our profession?" with Kelly Moore, Executive Director for CLA,  and Awards Luncheon, Saturday, May 9, 10:45 am.


REGISTRATION: Registration is accepted in person at the conference. Cash, credit card and cheque payments will be accepted.

* Access to the vendor trade show is free. You do not need to be registered in order to attent the trade show.

ACCOMMODATIONS: The conference will be held at the Delta Winnipeg Hotel, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
