Call for Volunteers:

The Manitoba Library Conference will be held at the Delta Hotel on May 15th and 16th this year and we need you to volunteer. Volunteers will have their conference fees waived for the day(s) that they work and will be able to still attend a session of their choice while volunteering. Duties are varied, but could include: helping facilitate sessions, working at the registration table, helping host the dinner and other mixer events and generally filling in where needed.

If you are interested in being a part of something important in our community and working along with fun and enthusiastic people please contact Jeff Anderson, Hospitality Coordinator, at jeffanderson@wsd1.org . He is putting together a contact list for volunteers and will have important information on the conference sent to you soon.

Thanks for the overwhelming support the library community has shown for this conference. At this time, November 15, 2011, we have to close the call for volunteers. For those who are on the volunteer list and have received a reply from Jeff Anderson, information on volunteer activities will be sent to you as the conference date approaches.
